Commentary Supposing Books Morning Menace
Take a neurotic woman and throw her into a murder investigation on a farm and you get more than horseplay. Starleen Maddox is thrust#x2014;unbeknownst to anyone#x2014;into the lives of the Grayson family as they try to figure out who#x2019;s stealing their supplies and killing their horses. Add to the mix feuding brothers, family honor and a rich horse breeder from Texas, and nothing is as it seems.Rating Appertaining To Books Morning Menace

I found the story to be a bit boring and predictable. Mom was supposed to be a strong woman yet she was hysterical, crying, needing sedating and whiney and they treated her like a china doll. I just really didn't enjoy this one very much even though I did read it all.Hands down the best part of my job is getting the opportunity to read what I consider gems; those books that might otherwise be overlooked at the inception of the authors writing career, whose only desire is to share their hopes, dreams, fears and captivating imagination with the reading world. I felt like I was watching a movie as I was reading the characters and settings are that good. John Grayson, owner of a 100 year plus family horse farm rich with history, is having problems. Hay bales, tack, and horses become missing and there are no leads as to who is behind all this. Rose, John's wife, is exactly what you

When you're scanning and skipping more than you are reading, then it's time to move on to something more interesting. I read half of this book. I don't think there was an editor. This story is mired in repetition and the author goes on and on and on with the same information. DONE. NEXT
I'm really looking forward to reading Ms. Armstrong's book. So many great books, so little time!
Captivating...a woman thrown into the mix of a family and murder...riveting...a once close-knit happy family is shaken to its core...a must read with a surprise ending you just won't believe! ~ Starr Gardinier Reina, In the Name of Revenge, Deadly Decisions, www.queenwriter.com.
