Chilling and edgy, this book is like a mixture of Isobelle Carmody's "The Gathering" with a pinch of "Holes" and Pink Floyd's "The Wall", it's one of those books that takes a different approach to storytelling, making you neither hate nor like any of the characters, honestly the only interesting character was Roth, mainly because there were just more descriptions of him than anyone else.
